There are two ways to add text:
- Stand-alone text
- Attached text
Stand-alone text:
Stand-alone text is treated just like an image. It can be freely moved and resized.
To add a stand alone text box do one of the following:
- On the 'Insert' menu, select the 'Add Text Box' option.
- Use the
'Add Text Box' toolbar button.
Attached text:
Attached text is attached to a specific image. It is moved and resized when
the image moves and resizes.
To add an attached text box to an existing image, do one of the following:
- Right click on an image in the preview pane and choose one of the following options:
'Attach Text' or 'Edit Text'
- Select an image (or multiple images) in the preview pane and choose one of the
following options from the 'Items' menu: 'Attach Text' or 'Edit Text'
- Select an image (or multiple images) in the preview pane and use one of the following
toolbar buttons:
'Attach Text' or
'Edit Text'
Note: The 'Attach Text' option will create an new text item with the image file
name and attach it to the selected image(s).
The 'Edit Text' option will attach a new text item to the most recently selected
image, and open it in the Text
Editor.
To add an image with an attached text box, do one of the following:
- Right click on an image in the browser pane and choose one of the following options:
'Add Image(s) with Text' or 'Add All with text'
- Select an image(s) in the browser pane and choose one of the following options
from the Browser Menu: 'Add Image(s) with Text' or 'Add All with text'
- Select an image(s) in the browser pane and choose one of the following options
from the toolbar:
'Add Image(s) with Text' or
'Add All with text'
